1. Floyd Medical Center will hold its first annual Health and Wealth seminar on Wednesday, Sept. 19 at the Coosa Country Club in Rome. The seminar is for women between the ages of 40 and 65 who often find themselves as caregivers for both their parents and children. The cost of the seminar and luncheon is $10. 3. CASA of Polk and Haralson will offer their fall training class to become a child advocate for children involved in juvenile court proceedings. The 40 hour program began Monday, Sept. 17 and last to Monday, Oct. 17. Classes will be held in Cedartown on Mondays and Wednesdays for a total of 10 classes.
