She was born in Bartow County on Jan. 15, 1939, the daughter the late Ethel May Siniard Waits and the late Walker Waits.
Mrs. Presley was a member of the Lake View Baptist Church of Rockmart where she was very faithful until declining health became an issue. She retired from Shaw Industries with 35 years of service.
Mrs. Presley was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Edward Presley; daughter, Janice Rhonda Wyatt; sister, Ruby Waters and three brothers, James Waits, Curtis Waits, and Jimmy Ray Waits.
She is survived by a daughter and son-in law, Judy and Randy Williams of Taylorsville; a son and daughter-in-law, Tony and Brenda Presley of Rockmart; three sisters, Lizette Henson, Geneva Moates and Linda Campbell all of Rockmart; four granddaughters, five great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services for were held on Tuesday, Aug. 7 at 2 p.m. in the chapel of the Freeman Harris Funeral Home with Rev. Tony Lyle and Rev. Eddy Hughes officiating.
Interment services followed in the family lot of Polk Memory Gardens.
The following gentlemen were asked to serve as pallbearers: Keith Moates, Kevin Moates, Tim Henson, Daniel Johnson, Gavin Johnson, Riley “Shark” Henson and Anthony Bowman.
Mr. J. R. Waits and Mr. Revis Waits are requested to serve as honorary pallbearers.
The Freeman Harris Funeral Home was in charge of the services.
