Jail docket reports reveal people booked on variety of charges

Among jail docket reports from the Polk County Jail:

Roberto Espebanes, 29, 251 Farnant Ave., Cedartown was arrested Feb. 14 on charges of obstruction of an officer; failure to yield to emergency vehicle; interference with government property; improper stopping on road; failure to obey traffic control device; failure to maintain lane; open container; reckless driving; driving without a license; seatbelt violation; DUI-alcohol; fleeing and attempting to elude. He remains in the Polk County Jail.

David Wayne Thompson, 31, 1901 Hull Ave. SW, Rome, was arrested Feb. 15 on charges of DUI, possession of a controlled substance; possession of marijuana; possession of drugs not in original container. He was released on a property bond.

Demetrius Dewayne Dorsey, 18, 550 Russell St., Villa Rica, was arrested Feb. 15 on charges of first-degree forgery and deposit account fraud. He remains in the Polk County Jail.

Melanie Jue Love, 43, 525 7th Street, Cedartown, was arrested Feb. 15 on charges of child abuse; cruelty to children; simple battery under the Family Violence Act. She was released on a property bond.

Brian Christopher Barker, 30, of 111 North Estes, Cedartown was arrested Feb. 15 on charges of obstruction of an officer; theft by taking; fleeing and attempting to elude; failure to maintain lane; driving with a suspended license; DUI-refusal. He remains in the Polk County Jail.

Crystal Gail Stephens, 24, 25 Adamson Rd., Cedartown, was arrested Feb. 15 on charges of battery under the Family Violence Act; cruelty to children in the third degree. She was released on a property bond.

Toby Wayne Parker, 26, 1810 Piedmont Hwy., Cedartown, was arrested Feb. 15 on charges of battery under the Family Violence Act; reckless conduct; cruelty to children in the third degree. He remains in the Polk County Jail.

Jackie Lee Waits, 33, 4th Street, Aragon, was arrested Feb. 18 on charges of burglary and theft by taking. He remains in the Polk County Jail.

Kelley Buddy, 41, 115 Hickville Rd., Aragon, was arrested Feb. 18 on charges of burglary and theft by taking. He was released on a property bond.

Weldon Lee Easterwood, 28, 110 Waddell Circle, Aragon, was arrested Feb. 19 on burglary charges. He remains in the Polk County Jail.

Edwin Vasquez Lopez, 28, 419 Charleston Circle, Lawrenceville, was arrested Feb. 22 on charges of driving without a license; two counts of child restraint violations; speeding, and failure to maintain lane. He remains in the Polk County Jail.

gee looks like cedartown and polk county had a busy day. Drugs, child abuse, family violence,,,,dui's... I guess theres nothing to do in cedartown and polk county , but drink ,beat your wife and kids , and do or sell dope,,,geee whizzzzzz... mexicans and rednecks what do you expect when you can go down jones st , marietta st , rock st and get what you want..any time of day in broad daylight standing on corners every where even on the corner by pace st ,, cant drive down there any where with out seeing them selling drugs, gee may be the cops dont care.I dont think they do . Nothing is being done about it ..
