GAINESVILLE, GA. — Grief counselors are expected at a teenage girl's high school after her body was found in a wooded area near the shoreline of Lake Lanier northeast of Atlanta.

Authorities are encouraging anyone who might have information about 16-year-old Hannah Truelove to come forward. She was found dead late Friday in what police are treating as a suspicious death.

Hall County Deputy Coroner John Abernathy said Monday an autopsy has been done, but results are not being released because of the investigation. The probe involves the Georgia Bureau of Investigation and other law enforcement agencies.

Truelove was reported missing Thursday. Her body was found near the Lake Lanier Club apartments in Gainesville.

Police are also investigating whether the teenager had a stalker, and have been examining her Twitter account for leads.
