The following is a list of events going on in and around Polk County today, Aug. 21:

1. Delivary of the Cedartown Standard will be delayed for election results of the primary runoff scheduled for today.

2. The Polk County primary election runoff will be held today. Polls will close at 7 p.m.

3. Coosa Valley Regional Services will meet on Tuesday, Aug. 21 at 10 a.m. at the Calhoun Convention Center, 100 Peters St. Calhoun.

4. FHF Designs will again provide free haircuts for Polk County students returning to school. The Free Back to School Hair Cut Day will be held 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Aug. 21. Organizers ask that this be limited to those truly in need, ages 8 to 18. Also, the back-to-school hair cuts are by appointment only.

If you want election results don't depend on Fish/Wrap. Go to Secretary of State web site.
