He was born on May 11, 1944 in Rockmart, to the late Carl Head and Mary Woods.
Mr. Head was a member of Cochran Ridge Baptist Church in Dallas. Hee loved the Lord, his church, his wife and his family.
Mr. Head worked as a plumber for over 40 years and enjoyed helping everyone. He was very devoted to his friends, was a wonderful husband, father, brother and grandfather. Mr. Head was always faithful in everything.
Survivors include his wife of 11 years, Roxy Croker Head; sons and daughters-in-law, Ronnie Jr. and Linda Head of Loganville and Robert Head of Gainesville; daughters, Rhonda Gresham of Covington, Elizabeth Day of Covington and Haley Head of Dallas; step-son, Justin Lester of Dallas; brothers and sisters-in-law, Richard and Sue Head of Haralson County, James and Martha Head of Cartersville and Larry Head of Rockmart, GA; sister, Donna Turner of Rockmart; 11 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held on Tuesday, Aug. 7, at 3 p.m. from Clark Funeral Home in Hiram with Bro. Rick Eaves and Brother Larry Johnson officiating. Interment was held at Cochran Ridge Baptist Church Cemetery with Johnboy Gresham, Travis Toney, Austin Day, Justin Lester, Scott Kemper, Kevin Fisher and Joe Croker serving as pallbearers.
The Clark Funeral Home in Hiram was in charge of arrangements.
