The following is a list of events going on in and around Polk County today, July 31:

1. The local vegetable market will be open each Tuesday and Friday morning from 6:30– 8:30 a.m. or until the vegetables are sold . The market will be held at Peek’s Park parking lot in Cedartown.

2. The Cedartown Senior Citizen Nutrition Center located next to Burt Wood Park has activities Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Seniors 55 and older may participate in activites. Seniors 60 and older may participate in activities as well as nutritional meals and trips.

3. The polls will be open for the primary election today until 7 p.m. Cast your vote.
