Barrow said in a statement Wednesday he sees a congressional investigation of the Fast and Furious operation as being "about justice" for U.S. Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry, who was killed in a 2010 gunfight with Mexican bandits. Two guns from the shootout were traced to the operation, in which authorities let guns flow from the U.S. into Mexico in hopes of tracing them to gun traffickers.
A House vote is scheduled Thursday. Barrow of Augusta faces a tough re-election fight in east Georgia's 12th District, which has been redrawn to give Republicans an edge.
