The following is a list of events going on in and around Polk County today, June 6:

1. The Cedartown Wal-Mart will host senior day every Wednesday at 9 a.m. Seniors are invited to enjoy coffee, donuts and muffins as well as five games of bingo with prizes for the winners.

2. Calvary Assembly of God, 300 Canal St., will be hosting their third annual Mega Sports Camp this summer. The camp is held every Wednesday night, starting at 6 p.m. The camp will run from June 6 to July 25 for children 12-years-old and younger. The camp features an interactive Bible story, an object lesson with a sports story, high-action worship songs, and the kids learn new sports skills and then use them in game-related activities. The summer theme is “Go the Distance” and it will teach children to run the race of life God’s way, all the way. For more information about the camp, call 770-748-7466.
