The second driver in a fatal car wreck in Aragon will not be charged in the incident, according to GSP officials.

Thomas Anthony Ivey, 49, of Rockmart struck a Honda being driven by Kaleb Garrison, 27, of Taylorsville last weekend.

Garrison was killed in the crash.

GSP reports state Garrison was driving east when he crossed into the westbound lane. Ivey, driving a Jeep Grand Cherokee, struck Garrison’s vehicle on the passenger side.

Reports do not indicate why Garrison crossed the centerline.

Ivey was not injured to the point that he required hospitalization, reports said.
