Adrian Fincher, Work-Based Learning student and recent graduate of Cedartown High School, was honored at a luncheon where she was presented the Work-Based Learning Student of the Year award for the Northwest Georgia Region.

The awards luncheon is part of the Georgia Agriculture Career & Technology Education Conference (GACTE), which was recently held in Atlanta at the Renaissance Waverly Hotel. Adrian was nominated by her WBL teacher, Sue Wray.

The Work-Based Learning program provides students with opportunities to receive the academic and occupational preparation that equips them with the necessary skills for obtaining employment and/or postsecondary education.
