1. The Kiwanis Club of Cedartown meets every Friday at 12:15 p.m. at Cherokee Country Club.
2. The finals for the Northwest Georgia Idol will be held in the Cedartown Performing Arts Center at 6:30 p.m.
3. The spring hunter safety class has been set up and is ready for registration now. This class will be an internet class. Anyone interested in taking this class must pre-register for the class they intend to attend. You can register by going online at www.georgiawildlife.com or www.gohuntgeorgia.com. The class will be held at 2 p.m. March 18. You must register immediately if you plan to attend. To take this class, you must first complete the internet course online. Log on to the www.beasafehunter.org website to take this course. After completion of the internet class, be sure to print your test results and bring them to the final test on March 18.
