According to recreation director Jeff Hulsey, the season was nothing short of a success.
“This year was a great season, and we’re already looking forward to 2013,” Hulsey said.
This year, the recreation department had a total of 160 kids forming 20 teams.
“We would like to thank all the volunteers who coached and the recreation staff for putting long hours in that go from November until February,” Hulsey said.
Hulsey is hoping next year the recreation department see’s an increase in numbers for all ages.
“Let’s remember to always put kids first, for they will be kids only once,” Hulsey concluded.
Hulsey also noted that the recreation department will be announcing 2012 summer camps at a later date.
