Two drug busts net four arrests

Four people were arrested in a two separate undercover drug operations last week, according to the Polk County Police Department's Narcotics Enforcement Team (NET).

Charles Everett Smith, 64, and James Calvin Headrick Jr., 72, both of 323 4th St., Cedartown, were arrested Feb. 2 and charged with hydrocodone distribution.

Kenneth Lloyd Stubbs, 45, of 511 7th St., Cedartown, was also arrested in the investigation and charged with criminal attempt to purchase hydrocodone, according to NET officials.

All three men have bonded out.

Christopher Carlton Floyd, 21, of 310 Benedict Loop Road, Cedartown, was arrested in a second drug sting in Cedartown Feb. 3. He is charged with cocaine possession, according to officials.

Officials said that operation was probing the possession and street-level distribution of crack cocaine within Cedartown's city limits.
