The Cedartown Exchange Club donated a Freedom Shrine to Youngs Grove Elementary. The Freedom Shrine is a collection of 30 plaques that exemplifies the great history of the United States. The Bill of Right, the Declaration of Independence and Martin Luther King’s I have a dream speech now proudly hang in Youngs Grove’s hall. Retired Colonel Jim Glaze presented the Freedom Shrine to Youngs Grove. The Cedartown Exchange Club has donated Freedom Shrines to many Schools in Polk County.
