Saturday saw the Rockmart Youth Soccer Association continue with its season at the Nathan Dean Sports Complex.

The league had 12 teams in action beginning at 10 a.m. and lasting into the afternoon.

RYSA president Bill Sherfesee said that things have gone well since the season began last month and that only three weeks of regular competition remain.

Sherfesee said they are looking into organizing a year-end tournament involving the U12 teams but they are currently working out details.

Games featuring the 6-and-under, 8-and-under and 10-and-under teams are held each Saturday beginning at 10 a.m. while the 12-and-under teams play each Tuesday beginning at 6:30 p.m.
