1. A Down Home Fall Festival will be held in Historic Downtown on Saturday, Oct. 1, beginning at 9 a.m. There will be a parade at 10 a.m. For vendor information or for parade entry forms, contact the Downtown Cedartown Association at 770-748-2090 or visit the Depot at 609 South Main St. On the night of the Fall Festival, there will be a block party on Main Street from 7-11 p.m. Scratch-Off John will perform. 2. The Cultural Arts Center Gallery is open Fridays and Saturdays 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and by appointment. The Cultural Arts Center Gallery is located in the Rockmart Municipal Complex, 316 N. Piedmont Avenue, Building 300, Rockmart, Georgia.
3. The Possum Snout Arena on Hwy. 78 in Tallapoosa will hosts “Horsin’ Around Fun Shows” the second Saturday of each month until November. Registration for each event will begin at 4 p.m. There will be adult, junior and open classes. All proceeds will benefit Rachel’s Wish Foundation. Call 770-574-8104 for more information.
4. A benefit rodeo for Brooke Williams will be held at 8 p.m. at the fairgrounds in Cedartown. Proceeds will go to the Williams family to help with Brooke’s medical needs. The rodeo will be a Southeastern Professional Rodeo Association sanctioned event.
