Bryan Shelton Dennington, 35, was found Friday afternoon in the basement of his grandmother’s home near Cherokee Estate, said Whitfield County Coroner Bobbie Dixon. Dalton Police Department spokesman Bruce Frazier said on Monday a detective was investigating, but it appears the death is not suspicious.
“We’ve sent him to the (state) crime lab,” Dixon said. “We don’t know the cause of death or anything yet. Everything’s pending toxicology (tests).”
