The following is a list of events going on in and around Polk County today, July 18:

1. The Polk School District Board of Education will have a special session meeting at the main offices at 6:30 p.m.

2. Lake Creek Anointed Ministries, 784 Pine Pitch Road, Cedartown, will hold a Summer revival conference July 17 –22 with Bishop Robert Hutchins and the God Church of Deliverence church family. The conference will begin at 3 p.m. on Sunday, July 17, and at 7 p.m. each night July 18-22.

3. Rev. R. B. Hulsey would like to invite everyone to vacation Bible school at Friendly Baptist Church July 18-22, from 7-9 p.m. each night. The theme this year will be “Inside Out and Upside Down on Main Street.” Classes will be available for all ages. For more information, contact Ricky Cook at 770-684-3585
