The following is a list of events going on in and around Polk County today, July 18:

1. The Polk School District Board of Education will have a special session meeting at the main offices at 6:30 p.m.

2. Lake Creek Anointed Ministries, 784 Pine Pitch Road, Cedartown, will hold a Summer revival conference July 17 –22 with Bishop Robert Hutchins and the God Church of Deliverence church family. The conference will begin at 3 p.m. on Sunday, July 17, and at 7 p.m. each night July 18-22.

3. Rev. R. B. Hulsey would like to invite everyone to vacation Bible school at Friendly Baptist Church July 18-22, from 7-9 p.m. each night.
