Silver Creek man charged with meth possession, tampering with evidence

A Silver Creek man remained in jail on several felony charges after police say he attempted to flush some meth while fleeing officers, reports stated.

According to Floyd County Jail records:

Robert Lynn White, 51, of 308 Ridgedale Drive is charged with felony possession of methamphetamines, tampering with evidence and cruelty to children.

White allegedly fled from two officers and went into his residence. While inside he attempted to flush a quantity of methamphetamines. Some meth along with a set of digital scales were located in White’s bedrooms. The act took place in the presence of a three-year-old child.

He is additionally charged with driving with a suspended license, transactions in drug related objects and obstruction. Karen Elaine Johnson was also arrested.

White is also being held in jail for violating his probation.
