NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- Nashville police have arrested a Georgia man for selling fake tickets to a concert at this week's CMA Music Festival at LP Field after several fans said they bought bogus tickets.

Plainclothes officers posing as ticket buyers arrested 39-year-old Eric North, of Douglasville, Ga., on Thursday night. They found 47 fake tickets on him and more than $1,000 in cash.

A total of nine victims were discovered by police who bought tickets between $40 and $80 from street scalpers that turned out to be fakes.

North is charged with criminal simulation, a felony, and two counts of misdemeanor theft. Police said they will continue to look for fake tickets as the festival continues through the weekend.
