The woman’s name and age is not known by officials of the Polk County Volunteer Fire Department but the home at 225 Hutto Road, Cedartown, was owned by John D. Jolly.

No one else was home at the time of the fire.

Six stations, including Stations 7, 2, 5, 9, 1 and 8 were called out to the blaze around lunch Monday, according to officials.

Stations 1 and 8 responded to assist with manpower and water from tanker trucks.
