The GBI says Laura Dyer of Watkinsville surrendered on Monday after a warrant was obtained for her arrest. The GBI says the child's guardian also was arrested and charged with extortion.
The GBI says the teacher's arrest stems from a joint investigation with the Madison Police Department and the Morgan County Sheriff's Office.
