She has 9 years of teaching experience, five of those at Cedartown High School. Buck received a B.S. in Secondary Education, Social Studies from the University of West Georgia and she will be completing her M.S. in Education this June.
When asked about her job, Shelley said, “My favorite part of the day is the time I get to spend in the classroom with the students. There is something special about them getting particularly interested in a lesson I am teaching. Their energy is palpable. The kids are certainly the best part of my job. They are the reason I teach.”
