GNTC’s Adult Education Program Announces Winter Quarter Enrollment

Georgia Northwestern Technical College is pleased to announce openings for new students in the Adult Education program for winter quarter.

Adults who need instruction in basic academic skills such as reading, writing, and mathematics or preparation for the General Educational Development Test ® for a high school equivalency diploma are invited to register for the upcoming quarter. English as a Second Language (ESL) classes are also available.

There are adult learning centers in Calhoun, Cedartown, LaFayette, Ringgold, Rockmart, Rock Spring, Rome, Rossville, Summerville and Trenton. Morning, afternoon and evening classes are available.

New students will participate in an orientation/assessment session to learn about program requirements and determine a program of study that meets their individual needs. Students must be 18 years of age and officially withdrawn from school.

Those who are 16 or 17-years-old should ask about requirements for underage youth.
