The Cedartown Public Library hosted Cedar Christian School's Arts and Crafts Fair on Nov. 18.
The theme of the art competition was "Fantasy in Leaves." All objects incorporated leaves in some fashion and illustrations showed a large variety of objects, including a flying eagle, made of leaves.
Entries had to have at least a single real leaf, but most used multiple leaves.
The event was open to all Cedartown students in grades 1-8.
Judges from local businesses judged the entries, which were on display at the library from 1 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Nov. 18.
Prizes were issued for first, second and third place in two categories. One category was for younger students in grades 1 to 4, and the second category was for grades 5 to 8.
Winners for grades 1-4 were Cadmiel Hunger, first place, Melite Hunger, second place, and Juarez Hermenedildo, third place.
Winners for grades 5-8 were Damaris Hunger, first place, Persia Suarez, second place and Alexis Howard, third place.
