One person sustained minor injuries in a mid-morning wreck Thursday, May 23, at the intersection of Prior Station and Highway 100, according to police.
Cedartown Police Department officer Joy Nolan said the injured person was taken to the hospital.
Nolan said a Ford vehicle was traveling east on Prior Station when a Chevrolet Cobalt attempted to merge from Highway 100.
The driver of the Cobalt will be cited with failure to yield, she said.
Prior Station was shut down for about 45 minutes to clear the wreck.
