The Cedartown Fire Department Tuesday began a week-long annual test of the department's pump trucks.

The tests involve pumping water and projecting a stream out over Mundy's Lake. The tests require that one lane of College Street be closed to traffic.

While known locally as Mundy's Lake, the lake is also identified on maps as Springdale Lake.
