She was a cheerleading coach for Spring Hill High School and an active member and speaker for Susan G. Komen for the Cure, and beloved wife, mother, sister and friend to all that knew her.
Mrs. Ridings was preceded in death by her parents, Maj. Derrell Milton Ball and JoAnn Dean Ball and brother, Tommy Ball.
She is survived by her loving husband of 33 years, Mike Ridings; sons, Joey and Tyler Ridings; brother, Derrell Ball; sisters Stacey McCrimmon and Ann and Buddy Allen and several nieces and nephews also survive.
The funeral arrangements were conducted on Sunday, July 15, 2012 at 1:30 p.m. at Spring Hill Memorial Funeral Home with Rev. Michael Washington officiating.
Interment followed in the Spring Hill Memorial Park Cemetery.
The following gentlemen served as pallbearers: Randy Sneed, Ronnie Adkins, Michael Kloby, Bubba Hines, Rick Berkey, Chris McCrimmon, Denny Strickland and Cody Norton.
Memorial donations can be made to the American Cancer Society.
The Spring Hill Memorial Funeral Home handled the arrangements for Mrs. Julie Kate Ball Ridings.
