He was born on March 28, 1972 in Rome, the son of Sherrye Joelene Maxwell Hitchcock.
Mr. Hitchcock was a graduate of the Rockmart High School Class of 1992 and was a highly successful and competitive coon hunter. He was employed by Printpack, Inc. and was a member of the Holly Springs Baptist Church.
Mr. Hitchcock was preceded in death by his father, Caswell Dean Hitchcock on April 24, 2011.
Survivors included his mother, Sherrye Maxwell Hitchcock of Rockmart; brother, William Bruce (Billy) Hitchcock and his wife Joyce of Rockmart; three nieces, one nephew and two great-nephews.
Funeral services were held on Monday, Oct.15 at 11a.m. in the chapel of the Freeman Harris Funeral Home with Rev. Calvin Brown officiating.
Interment followed in the family lot of the Holly Springs Baptist Church Cemetery.
The following gentlemen served as pallbearers: Jacob Brown, Keith Puckett, Deon Wilson, Steve Gamel, Jan Cannon and Ricky Dean.
Serving as honorary pallbearers were: Bengie Leatherwood, Ricky Jefferson and Steve Thomas.
