He was born Sept. 12, 1963 in Atlanta.
Rev. Cole was preceded in death by his father, Robert Stephen Cole and brother, Joe Cole.
He is survived by wife, Diane Hayes Cole; daughter, Ashley Cole (Jake Rogers); son, Jeff Cole; mother, Margie Cole Swain; sister, Candy Meers (Eddie); brothers, Steve Cole (Shelia), David Cole (Janet), Thomas Cole (Teresa) and a grandchild.
The funeral service was conducted on Tuesday, May 29 at 2 p.m. at Live Oak Baptist Church, in Cave Spring Georgia with Rev. Anthony Trawick and Jeff Cole officiating. Interment followed in the Mountain Home Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will accept flowers; however, memorial contributions can be made to the Live Oak Baptist Church P.O. Box 590 Cave Spring, Ga. 30124 in support of the food pantry program.
Steve Cole, David Cole, Thomas Cole, Wayne Cole, Charlie Meers, Terry Kirby, Ethan Trawick and Jake Rogers served as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers were Phillip Harvell, Eddie Meers, the deacons of Mountain Home Baptist Church, and the servants of Live Oak Baptist Church.
The Olin L. Gammage and Sons Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
