A woman found herself in medical trouble when she started giving birth in a vehicle on the roadside on Rome Highway in Aragon this morning, according to emergency reports.

Reports state an obstetric call came in from the roadside at Burton’s Kwik Stop at 6:10 this morning. An ambulance did arrive and transport the woman to a hospital.

Officials from Redmond EMS said paperwork on the incident has not been turned in, so the condition of the mother and child is not available.

There were no Aragon police reports turned in on the incident and Burton’s employees said they knew nothing of the incident because it was before they arrived at work.
