1. The Cedartown Senior Citizen Nutrition Center located next to Burt Wood Park has activities Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Seniors 55 and older may participate in activites. Seniors 60 and older may participate in activities as well as nutritional meals and trips.
2. CASA of Polk and Haralson will offer their fall training class to become a child advocate for children involved in juvenile court proceedings. The 40 hour program will begin Monday, Sept. 17 and last to Monday, Oct. 17. Classes will be held in Cedartown on Mondays and Wednesdays for a total of 10 classes.
