The following is a list of events going on in and around Polk County today, June 22:

1. The Cedartown Senior Citizen Nutrition Center located next to Burt Wood Park has activities Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Seniors 55 and older may participate in activites. Seniors 60 and older may participate in activities as well as nutritional meals and trips.

2. The Rockmart Civic Arts Commission will show it's Peoples and Portraits exhibit in the Cultural Arts Center gallery from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

3. The Kiwanis Club of Cedartown meets every Friday at 12:15 p.m. at Cherokee Country Club.
