1. The Cedartown Senior Citizen Nutrition Center located next to Burt Wood Park has activites Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Seniors 55 and older may participate in activites. Seniors 60 and older may participate in activities as well as nutritional meals and trips.
2. Haven, a support group for women, meets each Tuesday at 2 p.m. in the auditorium of the Cedartown Housing Authority, 344 West Ave. A group discusses such issues as domestic violence, sexual assault and addictions among other topics. The group is described as a place where women can safely talk about any problem or issue they may be having. For more information, contact 770-748-6633 or 770-748-2300.
3. Rockmart will have a downtown community event from 6-9 p.m. as part of Cities Week. Events will include music by Michael Jack and the Psychedelic, magic performance by ATS magic, door prizes and fun.
