The following is a list of events going on in and around Polk County this weekend, Sept. 22-23:

Saturday

The Cave Spring Pig Out BBQ cook off will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in Rolator Park. There will be music, food, antique cars, heritage art demonstraions wagon tours and more. Adult tickesr are $5, children 10-and-under are free.

Today is the last day for the Polk County Fair on Hwy 278.

The Rockmart Arts Center Theatre will feature "The Ma White's Bottoms Show at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are on sale now. Adults are $10 children 12-and-under $5. For advanced ticket purchase, call 770-684-2707.
