The following is a list of events going on in and around Polk County this weekend, Oct. 20-21:

Saturday

First United Methodist Church in CEdartown will hold a fall festival featuring inflatables, games, prizes and food for free from 2 to 4:30 p.m. Following the festival there will be a contemporary praise and worship service at Peek Park.

"The Ma White's Bottoms Show" featuring singer/songwriter Cindy Smith and storyteller Jane Garner will be held in downtown Rockmart at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $10 for adults with kids 12-and-under $5 at the dor.

Sunday

Homecoming will be observed at Taylorsville Baptist Church, 19 Church St, Sunday Oct. 21 starting at 10:30 a.m. There will be no Sunday School. Pastor Tommy Harris will bring the message with lunch to follow.
