The following is a list of events going on in and around Polk County this weekend, Nov. 24-25:

1. The Cedartown Library will have a free showing of "Santa Paws 2: The Santa Pups" at 1 p.m. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.

2. Euharlee Baptist Church, 1103 Euharlee Road, will welcome their new pastor, Bradley Baker, on Sunday Nov. 25. Everyone is invited to attend. Sunday school begins at 9:45 a.m., morning services begin at 11 a.m.

3. Cedartown First United Methodist Church will hold Sunday morning services at 11 a.m.

4. Cedartown First Presbyterian Church will hold Sunday morning services at 11 a.m.
