Crews will be at a West Avenue crossing this week.
Previously posted: Drivers using West Avenue, Cedartown, will need to allow extra time and take an alternate route for a few days.
West Avenue runs past the West Cinema and the U.S. Post Office. The crossing being closed is just down from the Cedartown Church of God.
CSX Railroad scheduled closing the West Avenue crossing beginning Tuesday, Feb. 19 for maintenance work, according to officials.
The work is expected to take two to three days, officials said.
There will be posted detour signs, or motorists should plan an alternate route in advance.
