Members of Boy Scout Troop 40 in Cedartown had the duty Sunday afternoon of putting out American flags in preparation for Labor Day.
Old Glory was hung from wall mounts on downtown buildings provided by the city and merchants along Main Street, along with several other locations in Cedartown.
The flag duty taken on by the Scouts is sponsored by the local Kiwanis Club. Troop 40 meets at Anna Kresge Memorial United Methodist Church and the troop is also sponsored by the local Exchange Club.
