Rome man accused of molesting 10-year-old; threatening another

Rome police charged a man with felony aggravated child molestation after he allegedly molested a 10-year-old girl and threatened to do the same to a 5-year-old child if she told, ac-cording to Floyd County Jail reports.

According to the reports:

Honorio Filadelfo Perez, 20, 12 Philip Van Drive, is charged with molesting the child between May and August of this year.

The child said she didn’t tell anyone because of the threat.

In addition to the child molestation charge, police also placed an immigration hold on Perez.
