A parade will take place at 10 a.m. that will start at the gymnasium on Hogue Avenue and make its way down College Street and onto Elm Street before ending at the Nathan Dean Sports Complex.
Opening ceremonies will then take place at 11 a.m. at the NDSC activities field followed by the first games of the season.
The event was sceduled to take place on Saturday, Sept. 10 but was moved back after heavy rains earlier in the week so that teams could hold a full week of practice before the first contests.
