Roberts retires

Many friends, family and co-workers of Cedartown Fire Chief Kenneth Roberts attended a party on April 29 at City Hall recognizing his recent retirement. Roberts had been with the Cedartown Fire Department for 38 years and became chief in 1991. His last day was April 30. Pictured left to right in the top photo along with Roberts (fourth from left), are: Assistant Chief Michael Payton, Firefighter Kyle Waters, Capt. Steve Manning, newly appointed Chief Sammy Stephens, Firefighter Jason Schuman, Driver/Engineer Felix White, Firefighter Bill Ferrell, Capt. Lee Wilkerson and Firefighter Mark Waters.
