The Rockmart Middle School Lady Jackets soccer team gained a lot of experience this past season.

Playing in eight games, the Lady Jackets improved as the season progressed and finished with a 3-5 record.

“We had a very young team, we had 10 sixth graders,” head coach Cate Levy said. “A lot of the students had never played with one another. We started the season slow, but had two very close gams against Model and Coosa towards the end of the season, and we finished the season with a win against Cedartown.”

Members of the team this spring were Mackenzie Barber, Myra Browning, Bethania Forsyth, Mackenzie Bollen, Marilyn Guzman, Emilie Gasho, Hannah Johnson, Stephanie Guzman, Halle Maxwell, Robyn James, Lia Morris, Ashton Schuyler, Stephanie Pimiento, Kasie Price, Kayla Sherfesee, Autumn Tomlinson, Aubrey Smith, Brittany Sherfesee, and Kera Wynn.

The alternates were Hannah Brown, and Allie Sproull.
