As the latest blast of winter weather moves through north Georgia, Atlanta District postal officials say they don’t expect any major disruptions in mail delivery and area Post Offices will be open today for business as usual.

Local postal officials once again are reminding customers to clear the area around their mailboxes of ice, snow and other obstacles that may interfere with letter carriers’ delivery.

Customers are also urged to remove ice and snow from steps and walkways to make it easier for letter carriers who have to make deliveries on foot or deliver items to the door.
