The Polk County Democrats are pleased to contribute to the Cedartown United Fund Christmas Toy Program and to the Rockmart "Christmas is for Children" toy program, sponsored by the Police Department. This December community project reflects the efforts of the Polk County Democratic Committee to be a positive influence in Polk County. Featured in the photo from left to right are, Police Chief Keith Sorrells, from the Rockmart Police Department, JoAnne Starnes, from the Polk County Democrats, and Janine Hand from the Cedartown United Fund.

The Polk County Democratic Committee meets the second Saturday of each month, alternating between the Cedartown Library Assembly Room and Linda's Place Restaurant in Rockmart. The next meeting will be held in Rockmart at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 19. New members are welcome.
