Old flags continue to fly

The state is allowing government agencies, schools and even private businesses to continue flying the old Georgia State flag until the new ones arrive. The old flag can still be seen locally, as evident here in front of the Polk County Courthouse. The Confederate Memorial looms in the foreground.
