"Hope for Children: A Musical Tribute" will be presented this fall to benefit Polk County's Murphy Harpst Children's Centers.

The event is being coordinated by Carey Carter, Nancy Gallups and Sharon Umphenour.

The show will be held at the Grand Hyatt Buckhead to raise awareness and funds for the severely abused children of Murphy-Harpst Children's Centers. Wanda Dell, owner of Dell Films, is the producer and Monica Pearson and Vicki Locke will emcee.

"Hope For Children: A Musical Tribute," will feature musical performances by the Grady High School Marching Band and Choral Group as well as other talented children on a 16-by 30-foot stage.

Guests will be greeted by a stringed quartet for the cocktail reception and then the marching band will lead them into the dinner. There will be kids-themed songs and songs for kids-at-heart accompanied by choreographed dance performances. Dress will be theatrical chic and tickets are $400 and tables of 10 for $3,500 to $10,000.
