FORSYTH, Ga. -- Film crews are expected to arrive in Monroe County next week to shoot part of a movie directed by Billy Bob Thornton.

The film, "Jayne Mansfield's Car," includes actors Kevin Bacon, Dennis Quaid and Robert Duvall.

Karen Manus-Pennings, director of tourism and public relations for the Forsyth-Monroe County Chamber of Commerce, describes the film as a comedy-drama set in 1969 in Alabama.

The filming will take place around the state park area in High Falls. Some filming for the movie was done last month in Cedartown.

The film "Fried Green Tomatoes" was shot in Monroe County 20 years ago.
