Main Street being scraped for repaving

Workers began scraping the asphalt off Main Street Monday afternoon in preparation for repaving and striping as part of the Streetscape project.

Main Street is going to be beautiful when they finish streetscape. It will bring businesses and people back to town!

rode through ctown downtown this morning....the beatiful sunshine, the park already completed near the courthouse and the work on the other end are making downtown look very, very atractive. the store front paintings leftover from the movie help. rockmart has done a lot downtown too. polk county is doing the right thing with these improvements.
